During our recent romantic escape at Hotel Isla de la Garena, I was pleasantly surprised by the blend of comfort and sustainability it offered. While the atmosphere was generally quiet, we did occasionally hear some noise from neighboring rooms, a reminder that the hotel is a popular choice for those looking to enjoy its excellent amenities. The staff deserves a commendation for their prompt communication, making our stay seamless. The highlight was undoubtedly the spa, where we indulged in a much-needed break from our daily routines. After enjoying the heated indoor pool and the Turkish bath, we felt completely rejuvenated. The outdoor swimming pool area was another gem, providing a serene environment for relaxation. Dining was delightful in their modern restaurant, known for its Mediterranean cuisine. We appreciated the focus on environmentally-friendly practices, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality offered. Situated conveniently just a short drive from Madrid, it's the perfect base for exploring the historic charms of Alcalá de Henares, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hotel Isla de la Garena gifted us a memorable experience, showcasing how eco-friendly accommodations can also deliver luxury and comfort.
